Biography:
Asia is a California Certified Holistic Massage Therapist, Acupressure Therapist and California Licensed Esthetician. Her interests in the healing arts were acknowledged at an early age. She always thrived nurturing and helping others. While attending college and practicing Jujitsu, she studied restorative sports massage. Following her training she made massage her career choice and life study, which led her to train with the Mendocino School of Holistic Massage and Healing Arts, receiving certifications in Swedish Massage, Reflexology, Pregnancy Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, and Polarity Energy Balancing. The Acupressure Institute of Berkeley, California was where Asia found her deep connection and interest in Asian Bodywork. She spent two years studying the healing arts of Acupressure, Shiatsu, Tui-Na, and Acu-Yoga. To further her healing arts certifications, Asia studied skin care at a private Esthetician school in San Francisco. She became inspired to help others with their skin care through her own need for healing. She specializes in luxurious, healing European facials using Eminence Organic Handmade Skin Care of Hungary. Each facial is customized based on the analysis of your skin and lifestyle. She also specializes in sensitive skin waxing, and special event makeup. Asia moved to Santa Barbara from beautiful Mendocino in the spring of 2007, choosing Santa Barbara for its amazing serenity and diverse dance community. Whether you are looking for a massage or facial care, each session with Asia integrates Eastern and Western philosophies and modalities into an eclectic combination of customized conscious bodywork.
