Pamela    Biography | Testimonials


Biography:
Pamela is a dedicated yoga instructor who has studied intensively for the past fifteen years. In 2002, she was certified with the Vitality Health and Yoga Center in Solana Beach, CA and has been teaching yoga ever since. Pamela has also spent 40 years studying dance. She creatively draws on this experience to offer a yoga practice that focuses on the entire body and mind. Her process incorporates a great blend of both Hatha and Ashtanga yoga. Hatha is the most familiar yoga discipline and, fitting with Pamela's experience, Ashtanga adds a flow similar to dance. Pamela's sessions improve muscle tone, flexibility, strength, and stamina. Through challenging and varied poses she helps release stress and tension so that the body and mind thrive. Pamela also is certified in a Pilates/Yoga blend that allows her to incorporate core strengthening as well.

Yoga's many benefits help improve circulation, decrease body fat, and relieve pain. Yoga helps life's many common injuries and ailments, both physical and emotional. Therefore, Pamela encourages her students to use yoga to increase vital energy and find balance in the body and in life.

Outside of her practice, Pamela makes the most of her life in Ventura Harbor and embraces all the natural resources surrounding her. She enjoys living on the water with her dog, Nelson, and cat, Diego. Her hobbies continue to take advantage of the outdoor environment. She regularly hikes, bikes, kayaks, and of course, sails.
